Loafer, from what I can see about Tripp, she just saw the handwriting on the wall, knowing that she'd be subpoenaed, she'd have to have something to back up her answers. Imagine the onslaught she'd have to endure if she didn't have her insurance policy. And yes Bennett is responsible for making her see what she would be in for. I call it self preservation, not a "woman scorned"....
