nobody purchasing coverage through the marketplace has to pay more than 8.5% of their household income (an ACA-specific calculation) for the benchmark plan. No, I did not know this. I will research the article you posted this weekend when I've got some time. In the meantime, do you have any idea if there are human beings that I can speak with to get a better understanding of how I might participate in the ACA. If not, I will dive into the web site and see what happens, but I recall when the ACA launched there were loads of "advisors" that were supposed to get us humans up to speed on how it is supposed to work. Do those advisors still exist? I'd really chat with a human rather than try to sort out an online mumbo jumbo, and probably get it wrong.
