My all time favorite blooper... Mine is George Bush giving a campaign speech in, I think, Cleveland in the course of his first (successful) run for the Presidency: "Ronald Reagan and I have worked hand in hand in this administration. We have had triumphs, we have had defeats, we have had sex." In the stunned silence that followed, he sheepishly amended that to "setbacks".
