Bob, I love reading these posts and appreciate the time it takes to type down all the details; I almost feel like I'm there sitting in the trees! Like many here, I also want to continue hearing more! Rock on, Bob. You're awesome! On a related note, in their 60s, my parents planted some pear trees in their backyard. Yup, smack in the urban garden, the pear trees grew and my mother was so happy to be harvesting pears even in her mid 70s; she said many times that harvesting from a fruit tree that you'd planted yourself was a blessing. The last few years, they've not produced much but her plum trees have taken over:) Very few people have multigeneration assets - very well said. S
