I think CA is 80% non GOP and the democrats did what they do best, secretly back the most conservative candidate to run against. I think nearly have have already voted so there is probably enough turnout for Newsom to win by a landslide. I don't see Newsom as having a chance to win this especially since most/many moderates like me dislike the guy, we don't like wasting so much money and time on this whole election farce that both parties participate in rather than giving us better candidates. Trump wins and the Democrats try to impeach him for 4 years rather than give us a better choice than Biden...
