FB Facebook Growth

As much as people hate FB, there is sure a lot of growth. I decided to track it in my KMT Revision History to see how much it has grown.

siliconinvestor.com

10 Oct 2019 08:21 PM <-- My Facebook " Investing for the Long Term" group with 1,303 members as of 10/10/19

30 Sep 2020 12:23 PM <-- . ==> My Facebook " Investing for the Long Term" group with 1,873 members as of 09/30/2020.

29 Sep 2021 11:18 AM <-- ==> My Facebook " Investing for the Long Term" group with 6,183 members as of 9/29/21.

What is stunning is I probably reject 80% of new members as they seem to be fake handles made to post spam such as advertising Crypto Sites that give them as much as a 10% "fee" for what new members bring. Some of the scams we see on SI are tiny in comparison to the daily barrage I get on my FB group. It is like the old pyramid schemes where one yesterday said you can earn 10% by referring your friends once you follow they scammer's link that pays him (or her) 10% of the money collected.

Why would a legit site have to pay a 10% finder's fee?

I've been saving images of these attempted posts before I ban and block the members that get through. It makes me wonder how much of Crypto's growth is from the clueless sucking their friends and family into these pyramid schemes...
