As much as I'd like to declare a bottom, I'm afraid we are not there yet. There is some evidence of market stabilization. And if the earnings conf calls are positive, then we can build on this platform and move up. But at best its been neutral over the past few days (which is better than falling).

In terms of absolute performance, I looked at all the Ark funds over the past 4 months and they are about flat and about on par with the median stock. The one exception is ARKG. The genomics stocks have just been crushed. And you can see this not just in pure genomics like CRPS or NVTA, but even in PFE and other drug makers. I have my shopping list and am waiting for things to settle down before I load up on them.

But aside from selective pockets of tech and biotech, commodities are the ones to go with (and I mean the actual commodities rather than their producers).

On that note, BDRY seems to have started reversing its parabolic move up. It might actually be a good short candidate. GRN also seems to be going down...and that is actually bad news for the European economy.

That's it for now. I am likely to be too busy for SI for a while, so any posts from me will be intermittent.
