Back on the Covid discussion, here's an article that is an example of ...... much of the Covid and Covid prevention reporting makes zero sense.

Pfizer-BioNTech COVID vaccine appears more than 90% effective in kids 5 to 11

npr.org

I think that article says that if a kid gets the vaccine, then they are 90% likely to not develop symptoms if they contract Covid.

Well, a year ago, wasn't the story something like Covid doesn't really harm kids ages 5 to 11 except in very rare cases, so natural immunity for "kids" was something like 99+%? Covid was potentially deadly for old sick people, and almost everyone else was either naturally immune of just got a bad flulike sickness.

So.....what does it mean for Pfizer to make a vaccine which is 90% effective in a control group (kids AGE 5-11) that is 99.9% naturally immune?
