So now we have to a pretty close agreement.
Which is why I don't think the taxes will fix the issue that you just described and we both agree on.
It is also why I said that to fix the problem at its roots, the debate needs to be shifted away from the taxes and towards having a better system. A good first step is to expect the government to clearly articulate what and why it spends money on and how benefits from it.
