I went bearish on the rut in Feb...... saying it was the canary in the coal mine...it in fact was.. as the broad market went into a stealth bear.....the rut did not crack like expected....but the stocks did some losing 60-70%.....so i guess its in the eye of the beholder if you ""only"" play the indexes you were ok or broke even.....if not you were slaughtered
