"A better alternative to QS" is how I got to find out about DCRC a while back.
When QS was falling, it was attributed to DCRC as the choice for the brave auto execs.
QS is for VW, and DCRC is for Ford.

Despite all my TA work, I still do pay attention to the fundamentals.
