That was (and still is) one of the best things to do.
But time is running out to hedge (on a long term scale that is).
The USD will cease to be the reserve currency within 5 - 10 years.
When that happens, the pain will be tremendous and sharp.
It is easy to think of this time frame as way out with a lot of time to do something about it.
But it is not that far if you want to protect a lifetime of accumulated wealth.
