Duncan, I find myself wanting to agree with you about the source of the leaks, because it is hard for me to imagine Starr risking his investigation by doing all the very damaging leaking that is going on. However, if the White House were going to leak the ALLEGED revelations about Betty Currie, wouldn't they have done it on a slow news day or something, or after Clinton has left for Camp David for the weekend? During a presidential gala, with a major news conference with the British prime minister coming up the next morning, doesn't seem like the right timing to me.
