I was curious your thoughts as you were outside the US for so long and absent the political bickering.

I think the alternative is to buy tickets at the door or from a scalper.

What does it cost to have a person "man" the ticket window at the venue including perhaps 50 years of pensions if that is a university employee who can retire at 60% salary after 30 years of work?

To some, it may be worth $7 to know they get a seat they like and perhaps together with their family rather than showing up at the gate after paying for gas and parking only to find the only seats available are not together... or only enough seats for all but one of your party.

it doe seem excessive.... perhaps an opportunity for you to start a company to compete?
