Who cares about Brennan's objectivity?. If the fact is that Gary Johnson was beaten under such circumstances, and I am willing to believe that the incident would be in the local papers from the time period involved, what difference does political orientation make in reporting facts?

Well, I do, actually, but maybe I'm just old-fashioned. And your IF is a very big one, I think. IF all this stuff had been proved, I daresay at the moment Our Gary would be the Toast of the Talk Shows. But he isn't. Funny....
