I have little to no interest in predictions or forecasts. I am primarily interested in the P/L on my screen. In a way, the stock picker makes forecasts too based on the stocks he/she chooses to go long/short. But stock picking is really a matter of probabilities. There is no perfection in the stock market.

In terms of forecasts, one can be right for the wrong reasons and wrong for the right reasons. You did expect a slow down, but it was based on an inventory build up, not on a other strain of the virus. So, yes, you were right for the wrong reasons. But you were expecting a recession?

You are a deep, thoughtful, speculative thinker. That is why I read you, even if I don't always agree with you.

Omnicrom may be a blessing in disguise since it will lead us to herd immunity and the end of Covid, as we know it.
