Most welcome ST - it's the least I can do given all that you share here :-)

This pic will give you a good idea of the overall power market/forecast and players for GaN power devices....

Navitas, Transphorm, GaN Systems, Innoscience and EPC are the pure plays. Power Integrations and Navitas are the top dogs for the foreseeable future but I see NVTS moving ahead quicker by virtue of their tech lead. Some of these pure plays will likely be gobbled up by the big fish in the next couple years as the market takes off.

NVTS advantage is that they incorporate the GaN power FET, gate drive circuitry and protection on a single chip in a QFN package (5x6mm). Power Integrations package is much larger. The rest require external control and protection circuitry

This QFN package is a huge advantage for Engineers. It means plug and play as opposed to effing around with external circuitry and all the tweaking/optimizing and PCB layout concerns that entails (especially at these high frequencies).

Today the market is basically all mobile/laptop/tablet and is forecast to be still ~80% of the market in 2026. The next biggest segment in 2026 (~15%) will be automotive and that will be primarily on board charger. Currently the on board charger market is using silicon or SiC. The auto cos. are developing on board systems right now with GaN but they will wait for some more field reliability data to come in before adopting. SiC will dominate the much larger traction inverter market by virtue of it's proven reliability at the 1200V rating/100kW+ power level and superior thermal conductivity.
