Yesterday morning I was reading about the central banks in ancient Egypt and Indus Valley. They were water rights based civilizations and adding liquidity to the market literally meant allowing water so that the farmers could grow crops and draining it meant reducing the water ration and/or taxes on the water.

What you are complaining about has been with us in one form or another for thousands of years. I don't see why it will not remain for a few more thousands of years. I don't worry or complain about things that I can do nothing about. I find the best way to use them.
