Holly, the case only centers on the Presidents sexual practices insofar as it relates to him possibly obstructing justice or perjuring. The Secretary relationship is not sacrosanct before the law. You may wish it were but the fact is it isn't. Miss Currie is no more protected as a citizen than you or I would be. If there is no wrongdoing, and if the President hasn't lied, than I don't understand what would be the problem with her testifying. You may call it a blind fishing trip, frankly I don't know one way or the other. But I'm willing to give the special prosecutor the benefit of the doubt that he believes her testimony may be relevant to the obstruction of justice and perjury offenses. History will judge this episode as a case of a President exercising extremely poor judgement and arrogantly believing his teflon coating would never wear out. I believe when all is said and done. We will come to find out, the President did lie to the American people when he said he had no sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky, and that the circumstantial evidence that he influenced witnesses into testifying falsely under oath with be substantial enough to impeach him. I just hope it will happen quickly, and that he will resign and put the country first ahead of his own personal needs, rather than have this embarrassing circus continue for months and months. As much as the Presidents supporters want this saga to end. I don't believe it will. So we are left with a choice. 1. Dealing for the next 3 years with constant legal battles and embarrassing headlines or 2. Saying enough is enough and letting Al Gore run the country and calm the media frenzy down. Of course I could be wrong. But I doubt it. Only the future will tell for sure. Michael
