My cash is at it's highest level ever.

I had a huge options expiration today. I had large positions 10 different puts on stocks I sold puts on (over 16 to 18 months ago) 200 contracts (all XOM, CVX, and KMI) and they all expired to $00.00.
Today eliminated a huge chunk of collateralized cash that collateralized selling those puts back in April 2020.

It's the old: "working for a living cuz I'm taking what they're giving". There needs to be more to life than that!

Jan went shopping today and came back with two comments:

1) Things are really expensive!

2) There were a lot of empty shelves. Toilet paper and paper towels were empty. Saltine crackers have been out for two weeks.

Sounds like a lot of people in Wisconsin are sick with Omicron.

When I felt the worst, I nibbled crackers and butter and crackers and peanut butter.

This too will pass.
