There is a Portuguese lady living in HK who twits a summary of what happened in Chinese markets the previous week. This is a local's perspective. And it sucks there. You keep hearing about more and more bad surprises from RE companies. And the local governments are now selling land to each other to raise money. Several fund managers are declaring how much of their own money they are putting in the market (feels like they are trying to lift the market by themselves - like JP did in NYC about a 100 years ago).

Can it bounce from here? Of course it can, and it probably will. But IMO the risk/rewards are not favorable yet. I need to feel comfortable that China is not going to have a RE crisis. Their debt/GDP is pretty bad, so the government won't be able to do a massive bailout if things go haywire.
