Ms. Vicks speaks of an information vacuum? I won't even begin to waste bandwidth by posting links to some of the articles and awards appearing in major magazines -
all of which gave some rather nice outlines of the product and it's capabilities.

Seen in an earlier post:
completed oral agreements of all terms of one of the Billion $$-class partners

Well, it wasn't exactly the next day but I believe this was what that was in reference to:

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - (September 18, 1997) - DATA RACE (Nasdaq National Market: RACE) is taking its Be There! remote access technology coast-to-coast with an agreement just signed with Inacom Communications, a division of Inacom Corp. (NYSE: ICO). It is the first agreement with a national distributor that offers systems integration expertise of PBX and data communications systems. A $3 billion-a-year company, Inacom Corp. is an Omaha-based global provider of technology management services.

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 1997--Inacom Communications, a division of Inacom Corp., (NYSE: ICO), a Fortune 500 global provider of technology management services, announced that it has signed an agreement with DATA RACE (NASDAQ: RACE) to market its Be There!(TM) remote access technology.

It does take setup & training time to get sales rolling from these agreements though.

One has to wonder about Rod's motives since he won't admit to being short the stock.
The same goes for Valuespec who claims no interest whatsoever in FTEL.
