I could imagine them setting her up intentionally only if she DIDN'T really have an affair with Clinton. So that in the end she'd look crazy and he'd look persecuted. or could be they didnt think she was smart enough to get the point across to Tripp AND didnt want personal contact so they put it in writing...but not writing like a lawyer ..... But if they knew she was that dumb they'd have been even more careful. Any lawyer caught doing such a thing would get jail time and disbarrment. And they're not big chance-takers, most of 'em.
