And just what do you think Starr's office has been doing the last several years prior to Tailgate with those FBI agents and Justice Department attorneys? Apparently he is concerned enough about this type of activity to have Tripp in a safe house and judge Wright's security detail beefed up considerably.

If all this lurid stuff is as well-known to Arkansans as the folks from the Washington Weekly contend, it certainly is odd that after three years (and $30 million) Starr hasn't been able to prove any of it. If he had, he'd have already prosecuted. I should think Tripp's in a "safe house" because Starr doesn't want the press to get to her, not because he thinks anyone would have her offed. He's got the tapes. Actually his case might look better were she dead. Wright? As I said before, what other cases has she heard recently?
