I think Monica was worried enough to send evidence to the couple in Oregon, just in case. Evidence that they rented a safe deposit box for. She appears to have had leverage in other words. It appears she may have used it to go from a non paying intern position to job offers in the range of 30-40k a year relatively quickly with a psych degree fresh out of college. I don't necessarily buy any conspiracy per se, maybe just some over zealous supporters acting on their own for whatever reason. Although I'd still like to know who bankrolled Slick's trip to Russia way back when he was a starving college student. Basically as I've said earlier, these deaths, threats and beatings are facts, make of them what you will. You can't deny they didn't happen, however. The obituaries are real. As for Ms. Wrights decision to employ the extra resources, I don't blame her one bit, whether it's the crush of the press or something else she is concerned about. Again, it is fact that the independent council has had some concerns about certain witnesses to justify using safe houses, not the cheapest way of protecting your witnesses to be sure, but apparently they feel that the expense is justified. Make what you will of that fact as well.
