Another quarter completed

Despite a good product showing at CES, successful completion of the AMD+Xilinx merger, and AMD's snowballing success in the data centre with EPYC and Instinct, the completed quarter has been overshadowed by the war in Ukraine, inflation concerns, and other worries in the global markets.

I planned to start cashing in some of my gains last year — just small amounts to complement my income, now that I have semi-retired — but as the stock fell below $100, I postponed my plans to this tax year. No way I would part with shares below $100! However, I still find it hard to sell at the current depressed level, so it now looks like I will again delay my plans to next tax year (starts April 6 here in the UK). If we pass $150 again this year, maybe I will finally execute my first sell order. Hopefully we will see a more peaceful and optimistic world by then. The prospects for AMD+Xilinx do look good though!
