You already know what I think of the future of USD, so I am not going to go there <g>. It's not going to happen overnight, but we'll see it vacate the throne within our lifetime.

There is a type of TIP, whose name I've forgotten. It is not traded on the market and you can only get it directly from the treasury and only in limited amounts. But currently it pays over 8%. You may want to look it up. It won't hold all your cash, but it's the best deal you can get right now.
