Glenn Greenwald clipped the Chomsky interview about Trump / Russia future "collusion".
Looks like I was giving Clinton too much credit. Chomsky says that the Partnership for Peace was proposed by George H.W. Bush. Message 33731990
So if you combine Yeltsin's expression of interest in PfP with Clinton's promise to use PfP as a step to joining NATO, you wind up with Russia having once expressed an interest in joining NATO!!!
Gotta love that acronym - PfP.
