Huh! The tobacco industry has had to pay billions to the government in the final settlement. That hurts and they want blood, his blood. They are not feeling grateful to Clinton for anything. If he hadn't spearheaded the whole drive to do something about smoking it would never had been done. Clinton gored them and then maybe offered then a band-aid while they are lying on the ground with their guts spilling out. We could see a day soon when it will be a crime to smoke. The whole non-smoking movement came out of the Clinton presidency. He has rightly exposed the industry for targeting minors to get them hooked and also that the industry deliberately manufactured more addictive cigarettes. This is an industry that condemns people to a slow and painful death for profit. They know who their enemies are. Bob PS I am a republican and didn't vote for bill and in fact have never voted for a democrat in my life. It is only because of the damage these forces are doing to our country that I am seeming to defend slick.
