Jack, I would have no idea whether Monica was a borderline personality either, particularly since I've never met her. I haven't ever met anyone who has been officially diagnosed with any personality problem. In the end, I'm not sure if it makes much difference about Monica's state of mind. When there are many pieces of the puzzle, why settle on just one?
There's only two (edit: three) reasonable choices -
1) She's delusional/borderline personality, and made up the affair in her mind, or
2) She lied under oath.
3) She could have made it up in her mind, then told the truth under oath.
It doesn't seem likely that when/if Lewinsky testifies again that she will admit to being delusional or a borderline personality/split personality person who imagined the whole thing. Never say never, but if she did say that, how would we know which personality was talking? -G-
I think what Janice was suggesting is that even if Monica recants her statement that she made under oath and goes stands by what she said on tape, that we still wouldn't know for sure if she was a borderline personality type --- But I think if Monica wants to provide proof of the affair, she should be able to do it fairly easily -- there must be letters, notes, etc.., further, she could start naming everyone she told of the affair, naming anyone who may have seen convincing proof, etc., and then challenge those she names to prove her wrong.
We'll just have to see! At any rate, I can't imagine why anyone would watch TV soaps, when there's a real one unfolding in Wash DC that is better than anything anyone could have dreamt up!
