Interesting. Good to see they are moving forward.
The last time I checked with my wife's doc he had treated >120 patients diagnosed with covid with zero deaths and one hospitalization. I believe he mostly follows the FLCCC protocol.
My first thought is blind luck might say only 1 in 120 (0.83%) would need hospitalization and it could be a higher rate than a placebo...

So I checked CDD and the max rate for over age 85 is 17.2 hospitalizations per 100K = 0.02%

cdc.gov

but I think that might be a rate for the overall population, not the rate for the percentage of people in that age group that get COVID.

If you figure on the back of an envelope as most good engineers are able to do, then maybe 1/3 of the population has had COVID so you might have to triple the 0.02% to 0.06% to estimate for the full population. Even if you say 85 year olds avoid others and only 3% have had COVID, then the rate would go to 0.60% or "about" what your wife's doctor is observing...

So, the data still indicates to me it doesn't really do much BUT the tests are still not conclusive as they eliminate some of the protocols like taking zinc. Of course, many of us might have healthy zinc levels already from eating and taking vitamins to help fight illness like COVID.

Anyway, thanks for the new info.
