a couple years back before there was a 'run' on Chinese real estate, the 'normal' down deposit was 100,000RMB, approx, $15,000US for new/ unbuilt construction. my Chinese niece is a real estate agent.. sometime after we had our purchase, quite a few Chinese were up to the new trading demand selling their guaranteed purchase price for 200,000RMB, flipping to a nice 100% take on short duration. Smart trading as it turned out.
