| | | Hi Sun Tzu,
Inventory can not keep up with demand, but build is STILL restricted.
Usually OEMs load up northern dealers, then go South, so we are waiting for that boost in inventory.
To be honest, it has taken so long, I wonder if they just like restricted inventory and a no to low rebate environment. Nah they wouldn't like higher margins, surely not. Really not sure.
Margins are very high, unlike anything I experienced in my working career.
They say prices are dropping on used , except for the 20,000 plus price range.
People are tired of overpaying for high mileage used, but low mileage are still pricey vs the inflated new prices.
I have the Nomad association National Convention behind me now and am trying to catch up on past things to do.
My car was awarded best paint and best engine drivetrain. My builder did an outstanding job on the paint and straight new sheet metal and my restoration of the 1957 Rochester Ram Jet fuel injection was appreciated. More than satisfying for a hurried first showing.
Still another 100 hours of detailing the detailed before big shows. Stoked it was rewarded as it was.
