Wouldn't the best way to prevent another Ukraine be to listen to objections of the other side, ie China? IF we view Taiwan as not separate from China, then we'd ban advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment purchase. We gave up our leadership to Taiwan and S. Korea, another extension of China that we fought a war to prevent them from coming through N. Korea to take, by selling both countries advanced manufacturing equipment while harassing Intel, Micron and others foolish enough to stay in the US where politicians hate success, lost leadership. Democrats want to dole out the goodies as tax exemptions in exchange for power... as corrupt as the Republicans who allowed the carried interest scam to stay in because some hedge funds owned a few senators who would not pass Trump's tax bill (which caused taxes in blue states to SOAR despite lying to the contrary) if he took out the carried interest scam. I'm so sick of it!
