Hi Kirk, I worry about the day mainland China makes a move on Taiwan. Just a simple naval blockade would deal pain to the world. TSMC's diversification from Taiwan to Euroland and/or the US is basic common sense. At least China is not stealing the talent - they are made to pay up vs. stealing secrets. Fair market pricing is the mainstay of good efficient competition. Hopefully those people and the Taiwan Country will be able to peacefully enjoy their freedoms vs. the iron tyranny of the communists. Hopefully the US will also be able to avoid the tyranny of mandated drug vaccinations and excessive taxation from our future regimes. We all are being bombarded by power schemes from those who want power and control. What makes us desirable is the freedoms our fore fathers lacked and died for. Hopefully wise minds will value and retain those freedoms for all. It seems to be a tug of war far too often. Integrity and truthfulness will go a long way as well! My sister graduated a Masters Degree from Berkeley, after a degree from Utica New York, followed by a law degree from UCLA. She is a liberal po'd at the world because all of those degrees never gave her wealth. She found education to be rewarding, but never found work to be a passion.
