Farmers in North America are destroying crops and killing livestock because it makes sense, cost wise, due to increasing costs. Is China real estate any different. Perhaps we are seeing a reduction of China population moving from the countryside to swarm into the cities. Declining GDP growth and increasing costs, increasing offshoring of production back to North America and other consumer countries is a trend that is taking hold. Inflation is something Central Banks cannot ignore. Like you, I am exiting long positions and looking for earnings growth. I think it may be difficult in the next two quarters, but the U.S elections will probably give a boost to the markets if the Republicans make gains.
