Small caps may be what to watch for clues to when the new bull starts. I'm getting "hints" it started with the June lows.

IWM gave back all gains since 2018 in June, rallied hard, corrected and tested those lows with a minor new low on lower volume...

Oddly, the highest risk stock in my Explore Portfolio, a small biotech with no regular earnings, bottomed in June and is up more than double now. It reminds me of how my risky small cap tech stock, Finisar, behaved by bottoming in 2008 then making a higher low in 2009 that was about a double.
