What I don't understand is why do those with TDS have to bring up his faults when discussing those of others?

If YOU don't pay your taxes, do you think I or the IRS will give a crap if Trump paid his to let you off the hook? Can you bring up his faults as a defense for you not paying your taxes owed?

As you say, lots of criminals and people taking advantage of the system.

Since you brought it up

It seems odd that Trump donated his full salary to the US Treasury then would profit from over charging the Secret Service for hotel rooms... IT STINKS if true but reminds me of how when I was uninsured and tried to pay cash for dental services I was raked over the coals with excessive charges... now 20 years later the amount my new dentist gets from me and the insurance company is LESS than what my former dentist got for a crown back then. I figured out I was being "cheated" by listening to my old dentist brag about all his investments, how he only worked 3 days a week and took months off at a time to fish in Baja when it wasn't windy. You'd think someone booking the rooms would have made a cheaper choice like I found a reasonable dentist so it sounds suspicious to me.

Of course I was not cheated... I picked the dentist 22 years before when I had full medical and dental paid by HP and figured I should go to the same dentist the founders went to off University Ave in Palo Alto... I was free to leave any time.

Do you think any profits after overcharges made up for the salary he gave up?

How much did that overcharge for rooms add to the national debt compared to the illegal use of power to give away hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars we have to borrow to fund student loan forgiveness?
