Nothing makes much sense including people who don't get vaccinated due to a risk of problems compared to the risks associated with getting COVID being perfectly willing to chit all day to empty their colon then let a stranger stick a probe up their arse at the risk of perforation and life with an ostomy bag.... I wonder what the overlap is between those who do not get vaccinated against COVID, Shingles and the Flu vs those who have regular colonoscopies?

If nothing else, I'd love to see better risk / reward data.

What really bothered me about mine was how I had to sign away my rights to get expensive emergency care in the event they made a mistake. If I wasn't so far into it via the prep, I'd have asked "so if you make a mistake and perforate my colon and I need an ambulance to take me across the street to Stanford Hospital, then the hospitals and doctors make more money and I'll have to pay thousands towards my deductible?"
Something seemed wrong with that... emergency care, if needed should be factored into the price they charge thus they'd have incentive to get it right rather than wrong.
