I'm starting to think it's easier to play companies that have losses than companies with good earnings. Have you noticed that the expectations for earnings with these companies seems very yielding. AOL only beats the street by 1 cent and the stock goes up $15. AMZN, XCITE, YAHOO, ONSL, NTKI, NTBK, I can name more all pretty much fly at earnings time. I know there will be a day when all of this will not be true, but I sure don't see many people losing money with all these stocks of no earnings. Obviously their sales are all up, but that's starting out close to $0, and that seems pretty easy to beat. I think of all the OTC stocks with big earnings numbers that are still 50% down from the crash, and yet all these stocks pretty much just float back up with ease. I'm I missing something here. Ron |
