FYI, Bush 43 was not the one groomed for the job. His brother, Jeb, was one to be the next Bush president. But when Jeb lost the reelection to Florida Governor, another brother had to be picked. Sort of like when Joseph P. Kennedy died in WWII, dad substituted the next oldest son for future president.
