Does anyone remember that Frank Gorshin played a few heavy, dramatic parts in the late 1950s and early 1960s when his impersonation and comedy career was just getting started?

Also, does anyone remember which late-night talk show gave the Smothers Brothers' career its first real boost and what very famous and glamorous actress was convulsed with laughter at something Tommy said during a later appearance on that same show? That was the real beginning for the Smothers Brothers. If I should port this over to the Trivia thread, just say the word.
