That's the way they do it. Divide and conquer. Same idea with Ranked Choice Voting. That's what happened to Sarah Palin. They launched a fake, or at the very least completely unknown, R candidate with all the right D family legacy credentials. Split the R vote and the rest is history. Palin was actually pretty moderate as governor, but tough on corruption. First thing she did was list the Murkowski 'executive' jet for sale. I don't know much about Rick Scott though.
