When on a safari, you want to go with a lot of old, fat or otherwise very slow people so if the lion comes after you, someone else is first to be caught.

Likewise, we'll have a "War of the Presses" a term I coined somewhere around 1990... Someone from the Libertarian party here saw one of my articles (Letters to the Editor) and asked if I'd like to run for office.

The politicians will keep kicking the can down the road and try to inflate us out of the problem with borrowing to buy votes.

I see the solution is make the US THE place to do business with a zero corporate tax but have strong laws to make sure they build enough housing for their well paid workers AND make sure ALL those workers (not just the techies) are very well paid so we can tax the workers and the new housing they build.

Unfortunately, the local governments made deals for the property taxes to have businesses come but not the housing so they would not have to provide schools and other services.... so they gentrify the frack out of everywhere they go. I think only AOC on the Dems actually figured this out and Blocked Amazon who found suckers elsewhere.

Anyway, we'll (US, Canada and maybe the EU) be at the front of the pack running from the lions until the 8B in the rest of the World figure out we consumed most of the energy resources to cause climate change and they want reparations... then we'll have nowhere to run.
