Bitcoin is a fiat currency and is worth for the same reasons that any other fiat currency is worth anything. I agree with you that blockchain is a great invention. I think that ultimately the global reserve currency will be a blockchain stablecoin that is tied to a basket of currencies and commodities. We are likely about a decade away from that. But I see it as inevitable.
