The only way you can protect others by getting the Covid jab is if you die from it so you're not around to pass viruses and bacteria on to others. It doesn't prevent transmission and it's quite possible it could enhance transmission frequency since it can give you a temporary reduction in mild to moderate symptoms (the only metrics which were included in the Pfizer EUA submission study's endpoints) by you inadvertently believing you're not infected during this temporary period.
