Did we already have the recession and the market bottomed AFTER the economy bottomed, last year?

Q1 and Q2 of 2022 were successive quarters of negative GDP growth. "Many" say it was not a recession because jobs were growing. But if you shut down blue states and jobs with one president (a red president) then opened the states with another (a blue president) ... the jobs numbers are artificial and make all the past data correlations suspect.

Of course, they could revise these so it is not two negative quarters...
Or they could revise Q3-22 lower so it took until Q4-22 to exceed Q4-21 GDP.

but until then... we had a recession by the old, simple definition.
