Actually no. 6th gen Amer, 3rd gen Californian, but don't hold that against me. I guess I just picked up this sense for cultural differences ricocheting between companys here in Sillycon valley and doing some work related traveling throughout Asia. Certainly didn't get it from the public skoll system that I had the immense pleasure of attending back in the dark ages. Most of my peers and a lot of my friends are ethnic Chinese from places like Singapore, Penang, Taiwan and the like.
