Hi Ski,

Admittedly, I'm very new to Treasuries,

I bought on the secondary a note that expires in 9 months (november). Also have a 6 month CD at JPM.

Both new dip my toe in the water kind of things. FDIC insured at limits plus TDA's coverage and the Treasury - which guaranteed blah blah blah and probably the greatest risk. sigh

Today I sold some Puts on T both at 15 strike. October for 44 cents and January 2024 for 66 cents.

If assigned they put me right around T's recent lows back in October 14.46.

If assigned yielding 7.7%ish.

My old stand by plays of late except with the volatility increase, I've dropped to lower prices by two bucks and increased the number of contracts..

If I do get assigned it will be bigger money, but at a very hard to achieve yield.

I've been doing this on only T and KMI. Both very much sideways trading stocks in price.

Still sitting on a lot of cash and not really anxious to make many new trades. In fact I'm really over exposed to dividend paying stocks.

We're going to remodel our farm house in Wisconsin, but have those funds sittine at local bank.

I've been spending money on my old cars, trying to get them ready for sale if something happens to me. OR trying to get them drivable if nothing happens to me. They are all classics, but not worth much in boxes. Down to 2.5 old corvettes yet to complete. It takes about a year and half and 85,000 to finish them up like new.

So I've got projects out till I'm 75 or so.

Enjoy life my friend and thanks for the post!

Nice market turn while typing this post! <smile>.

Bob
