Market and stock tops/bottoms happen at the point of maximum uncertainty as investors gain clarity in their outlook. These turning moves are hidden from casual observations. At the top, small moves cause outsize negative changes in the score. At the bottom, the opposite happens and seemingly insignificant moves cause major changes to the score.

In the charts below I've highlighted move scores for different stocks/futures at different timescales (hourly to weekly) to show that my methodology is invariant to timeframe or the underlying equity.
